The city presently is planning to construct a pedestrian bridge to Iowa over the Missouri River, and an array of impressive riverfront projects includes a strikingly designed 240,000 square foot Convention Center and 20,000 seat Arena. Omaha has been booming since it was first founded, yet the unusual number of parks, live outdoor jazz concerts and beautiful hiking and biking trails attest to a population who also knows how to enjoy life.
